I have written previously about Donald Trump’s narcissistic personality and the psychological compulsion to satisfy his own needs first.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-partisan civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, has reported on Trump’s profoundly negative effects on children.
In an article published by the center, teachers reported an alarming level of fear and anxiety among children of color, which inflame racial and ethnic tensions and worries about being deported.
In another article, it was reported that some foreign students are carrying their birth certificates or Social Security cards to school because they are afraid they will be deported. One teacher reported that a Latino child told his classmates that he fears being deported and trapped behind a wall.
The Southern Poverty Law Center also reported that teachers have reported an increase in bullying, harassment and intimidation of students whose race, religion or nationality have been targets of political candidates. One teacher reported that her students are terrified of Donald Trump. African-American Muslim students fear that they will be sent back to Africa. According to the center, in state after state, teachers reported similar fears among minority children.
It is well known that Trump has said he will deport millions of immigrants, build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and even kill families of Islamist terrorists.
How can any intelligent, logical, rational citizen even consider voting for such a poor excuse of a man?
