LEWISTON — Reynald “Rey” A. Moreau, 83, of Lewiston passed away at CMMC on Wednesday, July 6.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 29, 1932, a son of the late Dominic and Antoinette (Guenette) Moreau.

Rey spent 20 years serving his country and retired from the U.S. Air Force holding the rank of major. He was involved in M.O.W.W. where he was a recent commander. He also served as general service officer at the national level for the entire New England Region from the Joshua Chamberlain Chapter for two years. Rey was also involved with M.O.A.A.

Rey is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; stepchildren, David DeRosa, Donna and Philip Klingman; as well as his grandchildren, Lindsey, Katie and Madison DeRosa, Austin Fournier, and Cameron, Gabriel, Emily and Jeremiah Klingman.

Rey was predeceased by his parents; and his brothers, Julien, Bert and his baby brother, Louie.
