AUBURN — Keith and Lorna Fanjoy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 21. Their closest family and friends attended a surprise luncheon at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston planned by their children and grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful buffet and a beautiful anniversary cake. Hydrangea arrangements were featured at each table. Brent Fanjoy served as toastmaster.

Mr. Fanjoy and the former Lorna Young were married on May 7, 1966, in Corinna at the Morse’s Corner Baptist Church. They lived in Dexter early in their marriage and for the past 40 years in Auburn.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Fanjoy was a purchasing agent for Jones and Vining and was also an international E Service representative at L.L. Bean.

Mr. Fanjoy was plant manager at shoe factories Etonic, Cole Haan and Timberlake.

They have five children, Brian, Brent, Randy, Ronnie and Reannette, and five grandchildren, Holly, Aaron, Amanda, Derrick and Allison.

Original wedding attendants present were Linda Brown Allen, Roger Fanjoy, Debra Young Eaton and Reannette Shoulette.
