LEWISTON — Bates College will host a fireworks display over Lake Andrews, bordered by College and Russell streets, around 8:45 p.m. Friday.

According to Douglas Hubley, a Bates College media representative, the display is part of Reunion Weekend for Bates alumni and their families.

The display is expected to last less than 30 minutes.

In case of severe weather, the display will be held at the same time on Saturday.
