Mystery Photo for May 29, 2016

There were several correct entries for last week’s mystery photo of the round granite slab with stones around and benches at the front of Edward Little High School in Auburn. The setting overlooks the parking lot used by senior class members. In a random drawing, the winner, George Bourgoin and his wife, Doris, of Lewiston knew exactly what it was, as they were graduates of the EL Class of 1966, which donated the money to have it put together. Gene Benner, another classmate, organized and had it built. It was dedicated in 2007. Bourgoin is the winner of a $20 Hannaford Supermarkets gift card.
