PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Kaci-Lee Ver Sluis, age 10, of Sabattus competed Saturday, May 14 in the Ocean State International Judo Tournament in Providence Rhode Island.

There were more than 400 youth competitors in the Rhode Island Tournament.

Kaci-Lee qualified for Junior Nationals by taking gold in her weight group of 36 kilograms. Kaci-Lee is registered with USA Judo, she represented Kokushikai Judo Club of New Jersey.
