DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Livermore Falls Women’s Club will be holding an Indoor Yard Sale on June 18 at the Livermore Community Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is a fundraiser to help support the many charities that this organization supports. We are looking for individuals or organizations who would in interested in earning money for their unwanted or excess items. DEAR SUN SPOTS: Join the YWCA for our gigantic indoor rummage sale, Saturday, June 11, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fabulous finds and unbelievable bargains abound. The rummage sale has something for every bargain hunter and is an excellent opportunity to get rid of your spring cleaning items through contributing to our sale. We have lots of incredible items coming in, but we still need your help. The YWCA will be accepting donations of the items listed below from now until Thursday, June 9. Please bring rummage sale items to the YWCA during the week: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All rummage sale proceeds benefit the YWCA’s services in our community, including: summer camp field trips, summer camp and aquatic scholarships, and our nutritious food program serving children in our child care program. Come out and support your YWCA and leave with some incredible deals. The rummage sale is sure to be a great day of shopping with friends and neighbors for a meaningful cause.
We are in search of donations of the following:
Kitchen/household items/home decor
Gardening equipment
Jewelry
Purses and accessories
Furniture, antiques, and collectibles
Children’s toys and clothing
Baby items
Electronics
Bicycles
Perennials
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items:

Televisions
Computer/monitors
Clothing that is stained or torn
Ski or snowboard equipment (boots, skis, etc.)
Mattresses or bedding
Undergarments

DEAR SUN SPOTS:Hartford Community Church will hold its huge two-day yard sale at Goodwin’s on Route 4 in North Turner on Saturday, May 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Along with the yard sale, we welcome churches to come to look at our Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs, supplies and beautiful painted backdrops  to take for free.
