I am writing in support of Roger Fuller as representative for District 59. Fuller, a UMaine graduate, is a retired educator who taught in local schools for 28 years and won the prestigious national Milken Educator Award in 1993.
He has been involved with educational consulting and computer technology and has served on several statewide education committees. He is also a small business owner and a landlord in Lewiston. He has knowledge of the current educational issues facing teachers, students and communities. He will work to make the state pay its 55 percent to help reduce property taxes.
He and his wife, Gina, have lived in Lewiston for 42 years and have two children and four grandchildren. He will fight for equity for all in education, employment, housing and access to services.
I support Roger Fuller in the primary election on June 14.
