LISBON — Police are investigating after finding a body on the Lisbon-Durham bridge Saturday morning.
Sgt. Ryan McGee said the man was found dead at 9:30 a.m. on the Lisbon side of the bridge but not in the roadway. He said he could release few details pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office and further investigation.
He declined to comment on who found it or how it was discovered. State police were not called in.
“Due to it being under investigation, we can’t release any details at this time,” McGee said. “I don’t believe it’s suspicious at this point. As soon as the ME’s Office has done their end of it, we should be able to give more details.”
