PORTER — A woman died in a head-on crash a half-mile from Kezar Falls Bridge around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to police, her car struck a tractor-trailer and the cab of the tractor-trailer burst into flames.
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland identified her as 50-year-old Donna-Lee Zahn of Parsonfield.
The cab of the truck burst into flames on impact Wednesday afternoon. The driver, 32-year-old Gary Runnells of Canaan, escaped injury.
McCausland said police are investigating the crash and planned to release the victim’s identity later in the day.
