CASCO — Olive Savage Holbrook, 90, of Casco passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, March 28.

Olive married the love of her life, Charles Holbrook Sr., on April 8, 1948, and resided in Yarmouth. Olive worked in the local mill and retired from the Yarmouth School Department, where she spent several years working in the cafeteria at the elementary school.

Upon retirement, Olive and Charles moved to their lakefront home in Casco, where they spent much of their time entertaining family and friends. Olive spent the last of her years at Russell Park in Lewiston.

Olive was an active member of the Harraseeket Grange in Freeport and also served in the Maine State Grange.

Olive loved to knit and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Patricia, and husband, Charles.

Surviving are her son, Charles Jr.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary.
