LEWISTON — David A. Mazerolle, 55, of Otisfield died Saturday, March 26, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, Canada, on Oct. 2, 1960, the son of Kenneth and Eleanor A. Wylie Mazerolle. He worked in the family business, a trucking company in P.I., then worked as a mechanic. He ran his own business, Mazz Co. Logistics. David was an active carrier operating under the USDOT. He was licensed to carry hazmat-rated materials from the household goods, bark mulch and cargo categories. At the time of his last MCS-150 form filing, David covered 150,000 miles. He built a garage out of timber, where he worked on cars and motorcycles, especially his Harley-Davidson and Gold Wing. Ford trucks were his passion. He built his children mini bikes and had been working on a tractor for his youngest. He created NTSA online website. He enjoyed listening to Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and Simon & Garfunkel.
He is survived by his wife Lisa (Hastings) of Otisfield; his father, Kenneth; his children, Joseph and wife, Erin, of Newport News, Va., Derek of Plainville, Conn., Angela and fiancé, Jason Witte, of Plainville, Conn., Sage of Oxford, Randi and Cyrus, both of Otisfield; a stepdaughter, Anna Chabot of Otisfield; grandchildren, Bentley Rogers, Antonio Gonzalez, Neviah Nunez, Cadance Mazerolle, Samuel Mazerolle, Isabel Mazerolle and Caleb Mazerolle; brother, Steven Mazerolle; and sisters, Janice Edwards and Jill Madore.
