Costello named to dean’s list

WALTHAM, Mass. — Stephanie J. Costello of Lewiston was named to the spring 2015 dean’s list at Bentley University.

To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time student must have a GPA of 3.3 or higher with no course grade below 2.0 during the term.

Washington University dean’s list 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — North Kay of Industry was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Kay is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences.

To qualify for the dean’s list in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester GPA 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

Locals named to Wheaton College dean’s list

NORTON, Mass. —  The following local residents have been named to the dean’s list at Wheaton College for the fall 2015 semester.

• Charlotte Middleton, a resident of Hebron and member of the Class of 2017, is the son of Stephen Middleton and Julie Middleton.

• Everett Bertrand, a resident of Minot and member of the Class of 2017, is the son of Michael Bertrand and Julie Bertrand.

Student initiated into Sigma Theta Tau

BEVERLY, Mass. — Recently MaryKate L. Masters was initiated into Sigma Theta Tau, the internationally recognized Honor Society of Nursing at Endicott College.

Masters, a senior, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Masters of Auburn.

Dean’s award for local students

HAMILTON, N.Y. — The following students have earned a 3.30 or higher term average to receive the Dean’s Award for academic excellence at Colgate University for the fall 2015 semester.

Katherine Duvall of Auburn, is a neuroscience-undeclared major in the Class of 2019, and a graduate of Waynflete School.

Mary Bryce of Norway, is a biology-undeclared major in the Class of 2019, and a graduate of Oxford Hills High School.

Dylan Frisbie of Gray, is a philosophy major in the Class of 2017, and a graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School.

Moster named to dean’s list 

NEWPORT, R.I. — Mariah Mosher of Auburn has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester at Salve Regina University.

Mosher, a senior, is majoring in psychology.

To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must earn a minimum GPA of 3.5 without receiving a grade below a B in that semester.

Internship gives Buell valuable experience

FINDLAY, Ohio — Emily Buell of Oxford is an intern for for the University of Findlay Equestrian Studies Program in Findlay, Ohio, for spring 2016.

A senior at the University of Findlay, Buell is completing a degree in animal science.

Chesterville students named to dean’s list

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Chesterville students Deanna Brown and Steve Brown have been named to the dean’s list at Ohio Christian University College of Adult and Graduate Studies for the spring 2015 semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 graded semester hours.
