Mystery photo for March 6, 2016

Last week’s mystery photo was not a mystery for many who responded that they have gone to church at what is now the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston for dozens of years, some as far back as they can remember. The photo is of the lights on the upper balcony of the iconic structure that dominates the Lewiston skyline. In a random drawing of correct responses, the winner, Richard Therrien of Lewiston, is one of those who recognized it from past experience. When contacted, he stated, “I have been going there for 65 years. I go to church there every Sunday. I have been to weddings, funerals, concerts and lots of other things. I was baptized in that church and was an alter boy.” Therrien will receive a $10 Subway gift card.
