WATERFORD — Seventeen voters re-elected Selectman Wyatt Andrews and SAD 17 Director Judy Green on Friday.

It is Andrews’ third term and Green’s second.

Deputy Clerk Betty Becker said 17 people cast ballots at the municipal building on Valley Road. There were no blanks or write-ins, she said.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to serve the school district that I love so much,” Green said Friday night. “I so enjoyed being the adult education director. The advantage was I got to know the district as a whole and now I can continue serving the entire district.”

Green was elected in 2013 when longtime director Bill Hanger decided not to seek re-election.

Andrews was first elected in 2010 as a write-in to replace John Bell, who chose not to seek re-election because of career commitments. Bell has since been re-elected to the board.

Andrews could not be reached for comment Friday.

Action on the 62-article warrant begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the municipal building.
