1989 – 2016
RUMFORD — Cailin Michele Currivan, 26, of Rumford passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Feb. 27.
She was born in Norwalk, Conn., on Nov. 25, 1989, a daughter of Thomas K. Currivan Jr. and Michele A. (Phelan) Currivan.
Cailin attended St. Theresa’s Grammar School in Trumbull, Conn., and graduated from Trumbull High School with a major in agriscience and excelled in basketball. She attended St. Joseph’s College in Standish for two years.
She had been employed as a counselor with Oxford County Mental Health, and most recently was working at Circle K Deli in Mexico and Rumford House of Pizza.
Cailin loved fishing, hunting, swimming, camping, spending time with friends and attending and throwing a good party.
Cailin loved life to the fullest and will continue to live on in others through the gift of organ donation.
Surviving are her parents, Thomas K. and Michele A. Currivan of Bridgeport, Conn.; a brother and close friend, Thomas K. Currivan III of Bridgeport, Conn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, James D. Phelan Sr. and Marion (Mannix) Phelan; paternal grandparents, Therese (Langevin) Currivan and Thomas K. Currivan Sr.; and a very special aunt, Evelyn Langevin.
