Authorities say a suspect in the killing of a Malden, Mass., woman could be in Maine.

Kenneth Manning of Malden has been charged with murder in the death of 36-year-old Colleen Russell.

An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for the 35-year-old Manning, who remains at large. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding him. They say there was a tip that Manning was in Maine.

Russell was found at about 9 p.m. Monday after authorities responded to a well-being check at her apartment. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner determined that she died of “sharp force injuries.” Authorities said the incident did not appear to be random.

Authorities say Manning was last seen in Somerville on Feb. 16.

Manning has brown hair and is 6 feet ,2 inches tall and weighs about 265 lbs. He has several tattoos that include a large cross on the back of his neck, a tribal tattoo on his left bicep and the grim reaper on his left calf.
