DIXFIELD – The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee will hold their first budget workshop Monday, Feb. 29, Town Manager Carlo Puiia said.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. downstairs in the Ludden Memorial Library.

The workshop was rescheduled from Feb. 16 because of inclement weather.

Puiia said the budget for the Police Department is on the agenda. The department is considering downsizing from five to four officers.

Officials will also discuss the budgets for the Fire Department, public safety, the health officer, animal control officers and code enforcement officer, boards and committees, and recreation.
