LEWISTON — Laurie Pelletier, formerly the vice president of branch operations of Community Credit Union, has been promoted to vice president of lending.

Pelletier has 21 years of experience in financial institutions, five years with Community Credit Union. In her new position, she will direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations and quality of work performed by the loan department, which includes loan officers, loan servicing, card services and collections.

She has attended trainings with the Maine Credit Union League, taken supervisor courses at Central Maine Community College and is a graduate of Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute. She is also a CUNA-certified financial counselor, trained to help members with making budgets, review credit reports, set financial goals and analyze their overall financial situations in order to help them meet their financial goals.

She is a member of the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Club, active with the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for United Way.

She lives with her husband and daughter. She enjoys riding her motorcycle in the summer, spending time with family and friends, skiing in the winter and playing softball in the summer for the Community Credit Union team.

Community Credit Union has branches at 144 Pine St., Lewiston; 40 Stanley St., Auburn, and 1025 Auburn Road, Turner.
