FARMINGTON — Selectmen Joshua Bell and Michael Fogg will run unopposed for re-election, according to Town Clerk Leanne Dickey.
No one else submitted nomination papers for either three-year seat by the Feb. 12 deadline, she said.
Two candidates are seeking seats on the Regional School Unit 9 board of directors. Scott Erb and Douglas Dunlap have submitted nomination papers for the three-year terms, Dickey said.
School director Kenneth Charles is not seeking re-election and director Yvette Robinson resigned late last year after her family moved to Wilton, Dickey said. Selectmen appointed Nancy Porter to fill the vacancy until the March elections.
Ryan Morgan is seeking a one-year term on the school board. He was appointed by selectmen in September to replace Claire Andrews, who resigned last August.
The election will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 28, at the Community Building. The annual town meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
