AUBURN — The Auburn Democratic City Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Auburn Hall.

Dr. Henk Gorhures will speak about a single-payer health care system from a doctor’s perspective.

The committee will also continue planning the state Democratic caucus to be held on March 6. Candidates for the 2016 election will address the committee.

Candidates will be collecting signatures to be listed on the 2016 ballot, and members are asked to bring checkbooks if they wish to contribute the required $5 Clean Election contribution or seed money donations.

Parking is available in the garage. Use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.

All Auburn Democrats are urged to attend the city committee meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. Call 740-0113 for more information.
