Del Duca makes dean’s list at Coastal Carolina University

CONWAY, S.C. — Michael Del Duca of Bethel, a sophomore majoring in accounting, has been named to the fall 2015 dean’s list at Coastal Carolina University.

To qualify for the dean’s list, upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 GPA.

Students named to WNEU dean’s list 

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Western New England University congratulated 749 students who were named to the fall 2015 dean’s list. The following local students are named to the list for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher:

Shelbea D. Russell of Auburn, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Ashley P. DeBlois of North Monmouth, majoring in criminal justice with criminal investigation concentration.

Collette E. Connor of Winthrop, majoring in biomedical engineering.

Springfield College dean’s list announced

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Springfield College has named area students to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2015 term.

Gregory Grinnell of Bridgton is studying applied exercise science.

Faith Ide of Lewiston is studying psychology.

For selection to the dean’s list, the student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the semester, exclusive of “P” grades; the student must not have any incompletes, missing grades or “CPs” in the designated semester; the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester; and the student must not have been barred from the dean’s list due to a disciplinary action.

Emily Cormier named to dean’s list 

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Emily Cormier of Mechanic Falls, a junior at American International College, has been named to the fall 2015 dean’s list.

Dean’s list students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0.

Reynolds graduates Southern Adventist University

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. — Jennifer Jill Reynolds graduated from Southern Adventist University on Dec. 17, 2015, receiving her bachelor of science in business administration and public relations.

Reynolds is a member of Sigma Beta Delta as well as the Business Society’s International Honor Society and Who’s Who among students in the American Universities and Colleges.

She is the daughter of Randee and Julia Reynolds of Sabattus.

Hofstra announces dean’s list 

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Hofstra University congratulated the students named to the fall 2015 dean’s list for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the list.

Local students are Nicholas Beaudoin of Bowdoinham, Joseph Fay of Winthrop, Alexandra Flowers of Auburn, Anneli Lanyon of Turner and Jordan Richmond of Auburn.

Students named to Castleton’s dean’s list

CASTLETON, Vt. — Local students were named to the Castleton University dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2015-16 academic year. To qualify, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

Students are Taylor Benson of Leeds, Dalton-Jesse Cummins of Winthrop, Alexa Fryover of Jay, Elise Luce of Carrabassett Valley, Erin Luce of Carrabassett Valley and Tyler Sturtevant of Mechanic Falls.
