FARMINGTON — Police Chief Jack Peck plans to spend time talking with residents at Coffee with a Cop, from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Dunkin’ Donuts, 636 Wilton Road.

Coffee with a Cop is a new outreach by the department, a chance for residents to ask questions or share concerns and get to know officers. For police, it’s a chance to converse with residents, he said.

The meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month, beginning this Thursday. Peck plans to try the program for at least a few months.
