1970 – 2016

LEWISTON — Scott “Scotty” Rose, 46, of Poland joined his father and brother in Heaven on Friday, Feb. 5, as he was surrounded by family at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Scotty was born on Jan.12, 1970, in Waterville to Charlotte and Birchard Rose Sr.

He was a longtime resident of Poland, and attended Gray-New Gloucester High School, graduating with the Class of 1989.

Scott was a devoted Red Sox fan, and also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. As an avid Tony Stewart fan, he named his dog after him. Scotty had a passion for collecting memorabilia and movies.

Scotty is well-known in the local dialysis community, where he received treatment for over 30 years. He fought many battles with illness in his short lifetime, yet always remained good-natured. He was always smiling and joking with others. Scott had a spirit that was truly one-of-a-kind — a spirit that will never be forgotten by anyone who met him.
