FARMINGTON – A Strong man is accused of stalking two women from the towns of Eustis and Chesterville that had previously broken off relationships with him.
Franklin County Deputy Andrew Morgan arrested Wesley R. Adams, 25, Thursday on misdemeanor charges of domestic violence stalking, and violation of condition of release, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said. Adams remained at the Franklin County jail on Friday. He is being held on $500 cash bail.
County Detective Kenneth Charles arrested Adams on Jan. 29 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence stalking. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bail the same day.
In the most recent case in Chesterville, the woman had broken up with Adams, but he continued to call her numerous times from different phone numbers, texted her, and tried to make contact in other ways, Nichols said.
In the initial case, Cpl. Matthew Brann and Deputy Justin Lowe responded to a harassment complaint on Jan. 28 from a woman in the town of Eustis, he said.
After conducting the initial investigation, Charles conducted follow up interviews with the victim prior to arresting Adams, Nichols said.
Adams is accused of texting, contacting the victim, and making unannounced visits when the woman told him not to, he said.
