MANCHESTER, N.H. — Louisa C. Gendron, 90, of Derry, N.H., passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center in Manchester, N.H.
Louisa was born in Auburn on Oct. 29, 1925, a daughter of Antonio and Marieanna (Marcoux) Celani.
She had been a resident of Derry, N.H., for the past four years, formerly living in Londonderry, N.H., and Manchester, N.H.
Louisa was involved in the community of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Londonderry, and she formerly was an active member of St. Thecla Parish in Pembroke, Mass.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard P. Gendron, of Derry; her son, Philip R. Gendron and his wife, Christine, of Plymouth, Mass.; her daughter, Michele L. LaCerda and her husband, Kevin, of Londonderry, N.H.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelina Pouzol and Stella Truchon, both of Lewiston; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Louisa was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Ann Willwerth; two sisters, Marietta Wyman and Ramona Rock; and her brother, Antonio Celani Jr.
