1944 – 2016

BRUNSWICK — Roland J. Labbe, 71, passed away Jan. 13 at the Bodwell House in Brunswick.

He was born March 20, 1944, the son of Hampy and Melinda Labbe.

For most of his life Roland was an avid truck driver. He enjoyed his classic cars and attending shows, camping at the Birches with some of his dear friends, playing bingo, and going to flea markets and auctions with his special friend, Tina.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Labbe Perry and her husband, James, of Bath, and Brenda Labbe Bauer and her husband, Ernie, of Jackson, Wyo.; four grandchildren, Nicholas Perry of West Bath, Christopher Bauer of Daniel, Wyo., Brett Perry of Daniel, Wyo., and Kyle Perry of Bath; his sister, Bernadette; brother, Raymond; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents; by a twin brother, Norman; and by two sisters, Beatrice and Germaine.

Roland requested spreading his ashes in some special locations, which his children will honor.
