Adult education partners at Regional School Unit 16 in Poland, the Auburn School Department and School Administrative District 52 in Turner, together with area manufacturers and the Lewiston CareerCenter, have been working to create a free, five-week specialized training to prepare participants for careers in manufacturing.

Those who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a new career should take advantage of the opportunity to learn valuable industry-specific skills that are highly desired by many local manufacturing companies. Employer tours and interviews will also be included.

Training begins in February and has limited space available. Call the Lewiston CareerCenter at 207-753-9001, or one of the participating adult education programs mentioned for more information.
