LEWISTON — Lewiston School Committee, 6:45 p.m., downtown Dingley Building. First meeting of the new committee. On agenda: presentation of adult education, nomination for adult educator director, vote on contract with Harriman Associates to design and relocate athletic fields in Franklin Pasture, vote on five-year transportation contract.

TUESDAY, Jan. 12

LEWISTON — City Council workshop meeting, 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the bottom floor of Lewiston City Hall. Councilors are scheduled to get the city’s proposed capital improvement plan for the next year, discuss the downtown building task force report, discuss a rail coalition agreement and expanding the Public Works task force and to meet twice in executive session.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 13

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Charter Commission’s regular monthly meeting, 6 p.m. in bottom floor of Lewiston City Hall. Wednesday’s topics include discussing an agreement with consultants.

THURSDAY, Jan. 14

AUBURN — Lewiston-Auburn Transit Committee meeting, 12:30 p.m. at the AVCOG offices, 125 Manley Road, Auburn. Topics include updates on the Auburn bus station, new bus purchases, incident reporting and the maintenance contract.
