AVON — A Dallas Plantation man is accused of threatening his father Thursday with a handgun after the two fought, Franklin County sheriff’s Cpl. Nate Bean said.

Elijah S. Enman, 18, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence terrorizing, Bean said.

Enman was at his father’s home on River Road where the two got into an argument about doctor’s instructions for Enman, Bean said. They ended up wrestling on the floor.

Enman told his 57-year-old father “’If you want to see my gun, I will shoot you if you want to play that game,’” Bean said.

The two left the residence separately afterward.

Enman’s car was at his mother’s house in Dallas Plantation where Rangeley police Sgt. Jared Austin arrested him, Bean said.

A Glock handgun was recovered as evidence, Bean said.

Bean was assisted by Franklin County sheriff’s Deputy Brad Scovil, Chief Deputy Steven Lowell, Lt. David St. Laurent and Detectives Kenneth and Stephen Charles.

Enman was taken to the Franklin County jail in Farmington and later released on $250 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in a Farmington court Feb. 23.

A conviction on the charge carries a penalty of up to 364 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.
