PORTLAND — State police say a Maine man was killed when he was hit by a truck while using a snowblower at the end of his driveway.
Troopers say 59-year-old Edgar Rhoades died instantly Tuesday evening outside his home in Topsfield. Troopers say it was snowing at the time.
The driver of the truck was treated at the scene. His passenger wasn’t hurt.
Parts of northern New England got more than a half-foot of snow on Tuesday, with Stetson in Penobscot County getting 12 inches and Princeton in Washington County getting 11 inches.
