RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:

* Dec. 11, 11:14 p.m. — Troy Blanchard of Rumford was arrested for violating conditions of release and transported to Oxford County Jail.

* Dec. 11, 9:50 p.m. — Dennis Casko, 45, of Rumford, was arrested on Forest Avenue for domestic violence assault and violating conditions of release. He was transported direct to Oxford County Jail, ineligible for bail.

* Dec. 12, 12:47 a.m. — A Washington Street resident reported theft of Christmas decorations. Patrol officer James McLamb was investigating.

* Dec. 12, 6:18 a.m. — An Urquhart Street resident reported theft of Christmas decorations from her yard. Sgt. Tracey Higley was investigating.

* Dec. 16, 11:29 p.m. — Responded to an open 911 call on Cumberland Street. Troy Blanchard, 26, of Milton Township was arrested for violating conditions of release. Blanchard was transported to Oxford County Jail. Blanchard has a Rumford District Court date of Feb. 8.

* Dec. 16, 2:27 p.m. — Tyler Amburg, 28, of Dixfield was arrested on four outstanding warrants by officer Matthew Desroches. Amburg was unable to post bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.
