LEWISTON — Carmen Y. Beaulieu, 86, of Lewiston passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 14, in the Memory Care Unit of d’Youville Pavilion with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on March 21, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Lucienne (Levesque) Robert. She was the widow of Ned J. Beaulieu, whom she married on July 3, 1948. He died on May 2, 2010.
Carmen worked for many years in the former St. Peter’s School cafeteria and Connie’s Catering and for Burger King from 1988 to 2008, where she served as a hostess.
She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed housekeeping.
She is survived by her sons, Denis of Mechanic Falls, Robert of California, and David of Turner; her daughter, Suzanne Faucher of Lewiston; her sisters, Jeannine St. Marie and Claudette Robert, both of Lewiston. She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to extend a very heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff in the Memory Care Unit of d’Youville Pavilion.
