LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area are teaming up with Androscoggin County Head Start, Advocates for Children, Tri-County Mental Health Services and Safe Voices to brighten the holidays for local families in need. From now until Thursday, Dec. 17, members can donate new toys and clothes, appropriate for children age 0-18.

Unwrapped items can be:

• Brought to the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston, before Dec. 17.

• Picked up by chamber members by calling the chamber at 783-2249. Items will be for the Kids for the Holidays Bus “stuff the bus” program on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

• Brought to the chamber breakfast Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

• Brought to Business After Hours on Thursday, Dec. 17, at Lost Valley ski area in Auburn.

Representatives of Head Start and Advocates for Children, Tri-County Mental Health Services, Safe Voices and other organizations will attend the Business After Hours event to thank members and collect the items.
