FARMINGTON — Regional School Unit 9 has issued a scam alert and is warning Farmington-area businesses to be cautious after a representative claiming to be from National Campus Professionals recently started soliciting funds on behalf of Mt. Blue High School.

The same scammers attempted to solicit funds in a similar manner two years ago under a different name. RSU 9 has no contract with this company and is not affiliated with them in any manner, according to a news release.

The company, based in Florida, has been contacted by Farmington Police Department and by RSU 9 Superintendent Thomas Ward. The company has been told to cease and desist any soliciting in the area.
