AUBURN — The Lewiston-Auburn local community access channels will go dark on Thursday, Oct. 29.
According to Great Falls TV station manager Phil Larlee, the station will be off the air for a day while the studio and equipment is moved from Central Maine Community College to Auburn Hall. The outage could continue into Friday, depending on how long the move takes.
Great Falls TV (Time Warner Cable channels 7, 11 and 22) airs live Lewiston and Auburn city council meetings and workshops. The station is also contracted to air Lisbon town meetings on an alternate night.
Channel 11 is used for NASA TV broadcasts when there’s no local programming to air.
All programming is also streamed live on the station’s website at greatfallstv.net.
