Andrews Campbell of Bowdoinham will begin serving a six-month suspension on Nov. 1 following complaints, including one that he was improperly added to an elderly client’s will.

His lawyer said Campbell acknowledged his wrongdoing and agreed to the sanction. He told the Kennebec Journal (http://bit.ly/1P3i1qR ) that he intends to return to his law practice after the suspension.

Campbell was reprimanded in 1987 for standing mute and refusing to cross-examine a witness, resulting in a mistrial. Then he was disbarred for the drug conviction but he earned reinstatement. He’s represented a number of high-profile clients including a man charged with setting fire to a topless coffee shop.
