KITTERY — Oak Hill wrapped up the second undefeated football regular season in school history and its first since 1982 on Saturday, taking care of Traip, 32-6, at Memorial Field.
Dalton Therrien threw three touchdowns and Cruz Poirier rushed for two more to lead two-time defending state champion Oak Hill (7-0), which is the No. 1 seed in the Class D South playoffs and will host No. 8 Traip (2-5) next Saturday.
Oak Hill went to the airwaves for its first three scores and carved out a 26-0 halftime lead.
Therrien threw a 23-yard touchdown strike to Connor Nilsson only 1:37 into the game. The Raiders led 6-0 after the failed conversion.
They piled up three more scores in the final 9:22 of the second quarter. Therrien threw 20 yards to Jonah Martin and later connected with a third target, Colby Spencer, for a 23-yard score.
Poirier ran it in from 4 yards out just before the half. He tacked on a 5-yard TD before Traip got on the board thanks to a David Gibson scoring rush.
Therrien completed 6 of 8 passes for 117 yards. He also rushed four times for 59 yards and legged out a two-point conversion.
Lisbon 34, Telstar 0
BETHEL — Shawn Grover scored two touchdowns and Morgan Perron returned one of his three interceptions for a score to lead Lisbon past Telstar, 34-0, in a Class D South football regular-season finale.
Lisbon (5-2) clinched the No. 3 seed in the regional playoffs and will host No. 6 Boothbay next Saturday in the quarterfinals. Telstar finished at 0-7.
Grover’s TD runs covered 10 and 47 yards. He led the Greyhounds with 82 yards on the ground.
Henry Adams added a 20-yard TD. Tyler Halls completed his only pass of the day for a 17-yard TD to Kaleb Little.
Perron’s touchdown return was 40 yards. Lucas Francis picked off another pass to safeguard Lisbon’s second shutout of the season.
