LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Camille Robert was celebrated by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard, Friday, Oct. 23, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.

At the beginning of Mass, Camille’s sons, Robert and Normand, placed the white burial pall on their father’s casket, signifying Camille’s baptism into a new spiritual life with God.

During Mass. the offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Camille’s granddaughters, Jennifer Beagle and Cheryl Robert.

Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Chouinard recited committal prayers followed by the U.S. Army Honor Detail, who played taps and presented our country’s flag to Camille’s son, Normand, in recognition of his father’s service to his country during World War II.

The pallbearers were Norm, Marcel, and Cheryl Robert, as well as Walter, Jennifer and Zack Beagle.
