This is in response to the column by Connie Schultz (Oct. 3), “Standing tall for Planned Parenthood.” It sounded like Barack Obama trying to sell his health care plan.

In her pride of siding with Parent Parenthood and their inhumane atrocities, she fails to see that the title of that organization is more than deceiving. The name “Planned Parenthood” would sound like a place where one could go for help throughout a pregnancy, for guidance in family planning or parenting. Are mothers-to-be counseled in alternative solutions instead of abortion, such as help available for keeping a child, or adoption?

Hiding behind what they want people to believe as providing women’s health care, Planned Parenthood offers abortions, by the thousands. Abortionists may also dissect the aborted fetuses for body parts. Monstrous.

Are those who seek abortions schooled in the causes of why they became pregnant, or how to avoid future pregnancies? How many seek another abortion?

Giving people what they want is not always the right or proper thing to do.

In wanting to change society’s degradation, leading to vileness, society should go back to the basics of conscientious soul-searching, morals and responsibility.

Those thinking of having an abortion should take a moment to seriously think about it while imagining themselves in a fetal position in the mother’s womb. That would be the time to give thanks to the mother, for through her love, she gave birth.

In Jeremiah 1:5, God said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.”
