1939 – 2015

AUBURN — Donald A. Gagnon, 75, formerly of Lewiston, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Oct. 18, at Clover Manor Health Care, where he had been residing for the past three months.

He was born in Lewiston on Dec. 3, 1939, the son of Alfred and Gladys (Chamberlain) Gagnon. He was educated in Lewiston schools. On Nov. 24, 1988, he married Pauline Cote, who predeceased him on July 24, 2012.

Donald was employed with Philips Elmet until his retirement in 1996.

He was a member of Holy Cross Church, and was a member of the local Teamsters Union.

Survivors include his brothers, Raymond and wife, Betty, and Gerry and wife, Doris; a sister, Lorraine Gosselin; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a special niece and caregiver, Denise Cote; and a special friend, Rose McCloskey.
