Maine women’s hockey to visit
The Norway Savings Bank Arena in association with the University of Maine women’s hockey team has announced that they will host a Division 1 National Collegiate Hockey Association regular season game between the Black Bears and the Brown University at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
The Black Bears’ roster includes Auburn native Taylor Landry, who was a two-year captain at Edward Little High School where she scored 143 career-goals, 32 of which were scored in her senior season.

Over-40 Pickleball at Harrison Rec
The Harrison School will offer Pickleball on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Pickleball is a cross between ping pong and tennis the sports requies using a paddle and a Wiffle ball to hit over a 3-foot net. We have a few paddles and balls or bring your own. Wear loose comfortable clothing for easier movement and supportive cushioned sneakers for greater stability and comfort. Titcomb to hold Hike/Run Blast
Titcomb Mountain in West Farmington is gearing up for another exciting ski season. On Saturday, Oct. 31, the Halloween fun begins. The Second Annual Pass Blast 5k Trail Run/Hike will start at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m.
The Pass Blast from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. is your chance to get your Titcomb season passes at the lowest prices. It is also a volunteer work day as we get ready for a busy and season.
This 5k is for all levels, and the $10 entry fee goes towards scholarships for children who want to participate in Titcomb’s winter ski and snowboard programs.around the property, this is your chance to enjoy it with others.
