I agree with Sherie Blumenthal, “Chin will move Lewiston forward,” in her letter to the editor (Oct. 10).

Lewiston is home for me, from being born in Lewiston to raising three, now grown, children. Through the years, I have seen leaders with both positive and negative energy and believe our community benefits when we have positive leaders who unite citizens, rather than divide.

Ben Chin has a natural ability to bring people together. His experience proves he knows how listen, to gather all the facts and then collaborate with people to solve a problem. He is creative, sensible and wants the best for Lewiston.

Residents have an opportunity to elect a strong advocate for Lewiston — Ben Chin for mayor.
