1946 – 2015

HOPEWELL, Va. — Frank C. Greene, 69, of Hopewell, Va., beloved father, grandfather and brother went home to heaven on Monday, June 29.

He was born on March 17, 1946, in Hebron, to the late Charles and Pauline Greene.

Frank graduated Oxford Hills High School prior to joining the U.S. Army in 1967. He retired from service in 1987. He spent the remainder of his working career investigating insurance fraud.

Frank was proudly patriotic and loved to read. His children describe him as loving, devoted and selfless. He will be forever in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Dave Greene his wife, Erin, of Stafford, Va., and Deborah Nobling of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, Abaigeal and Nathaniel Greene; brothers, Charles Greene and his wife, Anna, of West-Bowdoin and James Greene and his wife, Barbara, of Baltimore, Md.; and sister, Mary Gagne of Richmond, Va.; and four nephews.
