SOUTH PARIS — Brittany Anne Stanhope, 21, of South Paris died unexpectedly early Saturday evening, Sept. 19, in Turner.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1994, in Lincoln, the daughter of Christian J. “Chris” Stanhope and Victoria L. (Wing) Record. Brittany attended local schools, graduating from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and later attending Central Maine Community College in Auburn.
Brittany most recently worked with ServiceMaster in Oxford.
She was the “queen of selfies” and enjoyed the company of her beloved sisters and the companionship of her dog, Franklin.
Brittany is survived by her mother and stepfather, Victoria Record and Martin Record of Oxford; her father, Christian Stanhope and his girlfriend, Jessica Bowring, of Biddeford; sisters, Miah Tripp, Makayla Record and Bridgette Record of Oxford; brothers, Tazz Lavoie of Turner, Trevor Stanhope of Lincoln and Wyatt Emery of Oxford; maternal grandmother, Dale Lane of Oxford; maternal grandfather, Everett Savage and his wife, Linda Herrick, of South Paris; paternal grandmother, Sharon Stanhope of Lincoln; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Holt of Freeport; maternal great-grandmother, Martha Savage of Enfield; stepgrandfather, Sidney Record of South Paris; stepgrandmother, Nancy Record of South Paris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a close “uncle,” Derrick Delancy of Oxford.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Dale Stanhope.
