Bridgton Golf Scramble
The Bridgton Highlands Country Club will host a golf scramble tournament on Monday, Sept. 21 to benefit the Ski Museum of Maine. The tournament will honor 2015 Ski Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Chalmers of Bridgton along with past Bridgton and Shawnee Peak inductees Tom Gyger, Bruce Cole, Frank Howell, David Farrar, Tom Bennett, Hans Jenni, Franklin Emery, James Jones, Greg Stump and Russ Haggett.
The Scramble begins at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start and includes a closest to the pin, longest drive and putting contest. Prize for the first-place team is a round of golf for four at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club. Second- and third-place team prizes and contest prizes include rounds of golf at Nonesuch Golf Course in Scarborough, Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, Bridgton Highlands Country Club, The Bethel Inn Resort and Poland Spring Golf Course.
Entry fee is $75 per person and includes golf, cart, lunch and souvenir Ski Museum golf ball. Registration is available on line at www.skimuseumofmaine.org or by calling 207-265-2023.
