WATERFORD — The Maine Department of Transportation announced a section of Sweden Road will be closed from Thursday, Sept. 17, to Monday, Sept. 28, to replace a granite culvert.

The closure is approximately 2,500 feet west of the intersection with Route 35/37 near Elm Vale Cemetery in South Waterford.

Traffic will be detoured on state roads: Routes 35/37 to Route 117 in Bridgton to Route 302 to Route 93 in Sweden.
