FARMINGTON — A former New Sharon woman was sentenced Friday to serve five months of a five-year prison sentence and to be on probation for three years in a methamphetamine manufacturing case.

Tabatha Schoubroek, 30, of Steep Falls pleaded guilty Friday to a felony charge of trafficking in methamphetamine and misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and violation of condition of release in one case, according to Franklin County Superior Court documents.

In addition, Schoubroek pleaded guilty to a felony charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from a company credit card. The state dismissed misdemeanor charges of misuse of identification and violating condition of release.

She also pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of heroin in an April 2014 case, as well as three counts of violation of condition of release.

Schoubroek was sentenced to five months on all of the charges to be served at the same time as the sentence on trafficking in methamphetamine.

She has been in jail since her arrest on March 27.

Schoubroek and her boyfriend, Daniel Villacci, 29, also formerly of New Sharon and currently in prison, were arrested in March after the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received information about a methamphetamine operation at their home and conducted a search with other agencies. Two children also lived at the home on Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon.

Both were also charged with unlawful possession of heroin in April 2014 at their New Sharon residence. In that case, the children came home to find both Schoubroek and Villacci unresponsive from a suspected heroin overdose.

Villacci was sentenced in May to serve a total of five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to drug charges, endangering children and violating probation. He will serve three years probation when he is released.

In regard to the theft charge, Schoubroek and Villacci were arrested in December 2014, accused of charging more than $6,000 to a credit card from Dube Environmental in Sidney, where Villacci worked.

Schoubroek is also required to pay $5,155.15 in restitution to the Maine Department of Corrections for the benefit of Dube Environment, according to court documents.

Conditions of her probation are that she complete an evaluation and counseling as directed by her probation office and enroll and complete a substance abuse treatment program.

She is to have no contact with Villacci except for in written form for child-related purposes. She is prohibited from residing with her children and all contact with them must be supervised.

Justice William Stokes also ordered her to abide by a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew during her probation except for medical appointments and work, if it is approved by her probation officer, according to court documents.
