HANOVER, Va. — Chrystal (Andrews) Lapointe, 60, a resident of Quinton, Va., died Friday evening, Aug. 21, at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Hanover, Va., surrounded by her family.
She was born April 21, 1955, in Lewiston, the daughter of the late Lorraine (Pelletier) Gray and Bernard Gray and the late Richard Andrews Sr. Chrystal attended Livermore Falls High School. On July 5, 1985, in Arizona, she married her husband of 30 years, Roland “Frenchie” Lapointe.
Chrystal enjoyed playing bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Roland Lapointe of Quinton, Va.; her two sons, Christopher Hewins and wife, Kathy, of Sandston, Va., and Keith Foisey and his wife, Charlotte, of Westville, Va.; grandchildren, Johnathan Irons, Zachery and Ryan Hewins, Alicia Hesner and her husband, Nicholios, and Joseph, Adam, Rebecca and Ben Foisey; great-grandchildren, Atrayu, Analeigh, Marley and Skylar; her father, Bernard Gray of East Livermore; siblings, Sandra Fitzherbert and her husband, Doug, Richard Andrews, Mary Ann Gray, Christine Chambless and her husband, Darrell, Steven Gray and his wife, Lisa, Lisa Desandre and her husband, John, Kerry Gray and Jeffrey Gray; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother, Lorraine Gray; her father, Richard Andrews Sr.; brother, Stephen Andrews; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Lachance and “Bingo Buddy” Richard Lapointe.
