NORWAY — Beverly (Dunn) Beliveau, 90, of South Paris, died on Friday, Aug. 7, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She passed away peacefully after a brief illness with family by her side. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Beliveau, who died on Nov. 23, 1992.
She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Dec. 29, 1924, a daughter of the late William G. and Linnie M. (Peters) Dunn. She attended schools in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High School.
Beverly was employed by New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. as an operator during World War II. She married Paul, a widower with five children, in 1955. Together, they had a sixth child, Thomas. She owned and operated a general store with her husband in Brownfield for 10 years before she retired to be a full-time mom.
She is survived by her children, Paula (Beliveau) Hanson and her husband, Neil, of Brooks, Patricia D. Beliveau and her husband, Michael S. Horn, of Islesboro, Michael Beliveau and his wife, Beverly, Peter A. Beliveau and his wife, Joni, David L. Beliveau, all of Portland, and Thomas W. Beliveau and his wife, Susan, of Hollis. She also leaves five grandchildren, Greg, James, Courtney, Devin Beliveau and Jeff Hanson.
